Description
JAMES QUINN HAS BECOME AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE MOORS COACHING STAFF SINCE JOINING THE CLUB IN 2018.
A former striker, James Quinn signed for Birmingham City but after just four league games the Blues sold him to Blackpool for £25,000. He scored a total of 47 goals and made 150 first-team starts over five years with the Seasiders.
He then joined West Brom for £500,000 in 1998. Between 1996 and 2007 Quinn made 50 appearances for Northern Ireland.
Quinn obtained the UEFA Pro Licence in 2012 and was appointed Head Coach of USL Premier Development League side Central Jersey Spartans. More recently he was first team coach at Tranmere Rovers under Gary Brabin.
In the summer of 2018, ‘Quinny’ took training sessions for the first team and, before he knew it, he was Moors' first team coach. Known for making each and every training session varied and different, Quinn played a key role in the 2018/19 runners-up finish and extended his stay with Moors in the summer of 2019.
