Quickfire Questions with Football & Education

How long have you worked in this role?

I have worked for Solihull Moors FC for just over two years now.

Name one thing that separates Moors from other F & E programmes?

94% of students that left us last year at the end of their two-year programme have confirmed employment or have gone into higher education.

The average A-Level grade was an A, with the average BTEC grade being MMM.We don't promise things we can't deliver, but what we can promise is becoming a better person and a better player.

Typical week?

I manage the Football and Education programme, we currently have seven staff and 60 students on the program. It's important to me that F&E work collectively to ensure the integrity of the football club is upheld and the programme is sustainable.

We ensure that within the lads' two-year stay with the club, as both players and students, they are given the best opportunity to develop. It is an individual student/athlete programme that needs good preparation and planning.

I also coach the club's current under 18's team across national competitions such as the FA Youth Cup and National Football Youth League.
